About the event
Meditation is the practice of being with what is, without trying to make anything happen or prevent anything from happening. Being completely available to be devoured by the present moment and free the world from your projections. It requires a mind that "stays", giving access to a penetrative insight in the essence of who you are.
In our courses you discipline your mind through concentration meditation (chi gnas; calming/staying) and gain insight in the essence of your awareness through special-insight meditation (Tib. lag thong; Skt vipasyanā). Techniques and instructions come from Indo-Tibetan Buddhism (Dzogchen, Mahamudra) and Tantric Shaivism (Trika, Kuala).
Our teachings are carefully adapted to be maximally effective for western practitioners. In addition, we use a pointing out style: clear, concrete instructions, followed by direct, individualised feedback.
Join us to try out our pointing-out style of meditation. No experience is required. Beginners and advanced meditators are welcome.
