Welcome to our immersion challenge.

At the core of House of the beloved is the practice of being different together: deeply connecting by expressing our own way of being human.

The immersion challenge is a gentle introduction into two core practices that enable this: meditation and authentic presence. 

​

So why do we practice? 

​

Most of us have a deep desire to be seen and heard in the deepest essence of who we are. It brings ecstasy: our secret inner garden dissolves in the intimate bliss of our shared humanity.

However, we rarely experience such a sincere and total connection. Our fear of rejection and our resistance to the intense rapture of being alive hinder us. We project them outwards as a threatening world or an immature partner.

​

This mechanism confuses outside with inside. Deeply recognising ourselves and acknowledging our fears changes what we perceive as an external world. We realise that all this time we have been fighting against ourselves.

​

This is at the core of the path of self-recognition. In every desire or fear lies a thirst for intimacy with ourselves. Truly recognising the essence of who we are is bliss. In this fulfilment our fear and resistance dissolve and we become intimate with all things. This is the experience of being seen and heard.

Only there is nothing to be seen and no one to see it.
